This spiritual journal book, designed as a companion to the author’s online On To Maturity series: “In Search of Wisdom” includes the author, Giovanna Taylor’s, personal stories about an uncertain phase of her young life when she made the types of choices that led to very painful and dark consequences. She openly shares those experiences and how, in facing her dilemma, she found an uncomfortable conflict between how she chose to live her life and what she said she believed spiritually. As she unpacks her story, she describes a debilitating feeling of shame and blame and what it led her to do. Along with Giovanna’s transparent approach to telling her story, you’ll find some of the Bible scriptures that once served to both confuse and challenge her and the ones that ultimately led her to overcome her emotional struggle to submit to an authentic relationship with God. Discussing this phase of her life was very difficult. She imagined that the sensitive nature of what she exposes about her testimony may also be difficult and even controversial for some to read, therefore this work begins with a warning disclaimer to her readers.
